Only the PCs have an energy plan Nova Scotia can afford
HALIFAX, NS – Progressive Conservative leader Jamie Baillie says Nova Scotians are about to make an important decision about who will be charting the course for the province’s energy future and Darrell Dexter must provide voters with the new details surrounding the Maritime Link project.
“Darrell Dexter has kept Nova Scotians in the dark about the Maritime Link project every step of the way,” said Baillie. “Now that he has important new information, he should be prepared to share it with Nova Scotians before Election Day.”
Baillie says the Progressive Conservatives have pressured the Dexter NDP for answers on behalf of Nova Scotia families for months. For example, every time the Progressive Conservatives asked how much this new energy would cost, the Dexter NDP refused to answer.
Baillie says Nova Scotia families looking for a break on their energy bills have reason to worry. Both the Liberals and the NDP have expensive energy plans that Nova Scotians can’t afford.
“Mr. McNeil has the same problem as the Dexter NDP. He can’t say how much electricity will cost under his plan,” said Baillie. “Families looking for relief on their power bills have only one choice and that’s the Progressive Conservative Party.”
