Wednesday, April 6, 2011

Mr. Speaker, members of the Legislature, special guests, ladies and gentlemen, this is my first Address in Reply to a Speech from the Throne, so I would like to begin for a moment by again thanking the constituents of Cumberland South who have sent me here. Our leader Jamie Baillie continues to travel around the province - meeting not only with party members, but also Nova Scotians who are looking for an alternative government to Darrell Dexter's NDP.

President's Report - Highs and Lows

Date:

In my 20 plus years as a member of this party, I have often heard people describe the PC Party as a family.  This past week, I experienced the highs and lows of being part of that family.

Part of the lows included saying farewell to several longtime Progressive Conservatives.
