Constituency : Argyle-Barrington

Colton LeBlanc is a lifelong resident of Argyle-Barrington, paramedic, and community volunteer. Growing up in Quinan, N.S., Colton understood from a young age the importance of being actively involved in his community and preserving the Acadian culture and French language. Colton is currently president of the Conseil acadien de Par-en-Bas, member of the board of directors of the Fédération acadienne de la Nouvelle-Écosse and Université Sainte-Anne’s Alumni Association. Colton also works as a substitute teacher in CSAP schools in the Argyle area. Colton is an advanced care paramedic in southwestern Nova Scotia. He received his primary care paramedic training at Medavie HealthEd and his advanced care paramedic certification at Holland College. Prior to this, he obtained a Bachelor of Science from Université Sainte-Anne in Church Point. Throughout his career, Colton has been a first-hand witness to the healthcare crisis in Nova Scotia. In addition to his involvement in the Acadian community, Colton is a volunteer firefighter and medical first responder in the Quinan and District Fire Department and delivers medical first responder education workshops to volunteer firefighters. He is also a member of Nova Scotia’s provincial AED Registry Advisory Committee. Argyle-Barrington needs a strong voice in the legislature - someone who listens to and understands the concerns of each person in our communities. Colton is ready to continue the great representation and hard work of MLA Chris d’Entremont. He is seeking your support to become the next MLA for Argyle-Barrington.
