Colton LeBlanc is a lifelong resident of Argyle-Barrington, paramedic, and community volunteer.
Growing up in Quinan, N.S., Colton understood from a young age the importance of being actively involved in his community and preserving the Acadian culture and French language. Colton is the past president of the Conseil acadien de Par-en-Bas, a previous member of the board of directors of the Fédération acadienne de la Nouvelle-Écosse and Université Sainte-Anne’s Alumni Association. Colton has worked as a substitute teacher in CSAP schools in the Argyle area.
Colton is an advanced care paramedic in southwestern Nova Scotia. He received his primary care paramedic training at Medavie HealthEd and his advanced care paramedic certification at Holland College. Prior to this, he obtained a Bachelor of Science from Université Sainte-Anne in Church Point.
In addition to his involvement in the Acadian community, Colton is a volunteer firefighter and medical first responder in the Quinan and District Fire Department and delivered medical first responder education workshops to volunteer firefighters. He was also a member of Nova Scotia’s provincial AED Registry Advisory Committee.
Colton was elected to the House of Assembly on September 3rd, 2019.
