Ginny arrived in Canada from the UK in 1997 and since 2004 has lived in Nova Scotia. Always involved in community organisations, she has volunteered with local boards of trade, The Kings Theatre, the local garden club, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, with community events and with her local Legion and Poppy Campaign. Most recently Ginny is giving time to teaching English to immigrants and to the Clean Annapolis River Project.
From an international IT career she has learned the value of hard work and attention to detail. And as a small business owner she has realised the value that local enterprise offers to the community. Federally, Ginny is the President of the West Nova Conservative Association and she also serves on the PC Annapolis Association.
She is an avid researcher, environmental advocate and gardener. In her spare time she is learning carpentry and trying to improve her language skills.
Ginny lives with her partner Michael in Smiths Cove and has one daughter, Emily, who is presently in Toronto.
