TUSKET, NS – Argyle MLA Chris d’Entremont announced today he is seeking re-election as the Progressive Conservative candidate for the new provincial constituency of Argyle-Barrington.

d’Entremont has served the constituency of Argyle since 2003 and looks forward to continuing that service.

“It has been an honour to represent Argyle for the past ten years, and I am looking forward to working with people in the new constituency of Argyle-Barrington,” said d’Entremont.   “Families in our region have been let down by the NDP’s bad management of our economy.”

d’Entremont says PC Party leader Jamie Baillie, a chartered accountant and former Credit Union Atlantic president, has the right experience to turn Nova Scotia’s economy around.

“Jamie Baillie is an experienced leader who understands how to turn around our struggling economy, and create jobs by lowering taxes and cutting red tape,” said d’Entremont.

d’Entremont was first elected as the MLA for Argyle in 2003, and was immediately appointed Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries. He was re-elected in 2006 and 2009, and has also served as Minister of Health, Minister of Community Services, Minister of Acadian Affairs, and Minister responsible for the Youth Secretariat.
