INVERNESS, NS – Allan MacMaster will be the Progressive Conservative candidate in Inverness in the upcoming provincial election.
MacMaster was first elected to the House of Assembly in an October 2009 by-election and he looks forward to continuing to represent the people of Inverness.
MacMaster was nominated this afternoon at an event with PC Party leader Jamie Baillie.
“A Progressive Conservative government will make life more affordable for people and families in Inverness,” MacMaster said. “We can’t afford four more years of NDP mismanagement – it’s time to change direction. Jamie is an experienced leader who knows how to create good jobs by lowering taxes, freezing power rates and stopping wasteful spending.”
Baillie spoke at this afternoon’s event and is excited about MacMaster’s candidacy.
“Allan brings a wealth of knowledge to the caucus table that is put to use as we work to undo the damage the Dexter NDP has done to Nova Scotia’s economy,” said Baillie. “The people of Inverness will continue to be well served by having someone of Allan’s experience representing them in the House of Assembly.”
