NDP have hours to come clean to Nova Scotians
HALIFAX - With only hours to go before Election Day, the NDP continue to evade questions about their campaign donations.
"Major donator CUPE is missing from their list. Where are they? They donated the $5,000 maximum in 2007 and over $63,000 in 2006," said PC Party spokesman Jordi Morgan. "The NDP won't answer questions about whether or not they have returned any more donations."
Morgan says the NDP must have something to hide. "We are starting to see a pattern."
"The NDP can release their individual donations, but they won't. They can answer the question of whether or not they have returned any other donations, but they won't," said Morgan.
"Nova Scotians deserve to know if the NDP returned any other donations and why there is such huge discrepancy in support from their union boss friends?" Morgan added. "They are refusing to answer serious questions before tomorrow's vote."
In recent years, the NDP have received donations from many more unions than they are currently reporting in this election year.
