NORTH SYDNEY, NS – Northside-Westmount Progressive Conservative candidate and education critic Eddie Orrell says parents can look forward to a new early learning program under a Jamie Baillie government and to having a province-wide comprehensive learning program in place over the next decade.
As outlined in the party’s platform, Change that Works, the PCs will commit $20 million to developing the Early Learning Program over four years.
“Development during the early years is critical,” said Orrell. “That’s why we have a comprehensive plan that makes sure young people get a good head start in life.”
Orrell says Nova Scotians will see the benefits of the Progressive Conservative early learning program for years to come.
“This is an investment in the future of our province,” said Orrell. “We want Nova Scotia to be a leader for future generations and this program will get us on the right path.”
