Patricia Auchnie wins Progressive Conservative nomination in Eastern Shore

Baillie says Eastern Shore will be well represented under Patricia Auchnie

EASTERN SHORE, NS – Patricia Auchnie will be the Progressive Conservative candidate for Eastern Shore in the upcoming provincial election. She won the nomination on Thursday, April 27, 2017.

Auchnie holds three degrees including a Masters of Social Work Degree from Dalhousie University and has worked in the field of Mental Health and Addiction on the ground and in leadership roles. Patricia says she is keen to get to work for the constituency and to work with Jamie Baillie’s Progressive Conservative team to turn our province around by bringing viable solutions and representation to the table.

“Good government is only achieved when our elected officials are accountable to the people. Elected officials must stand with constituents on the issues that matter to them and the province,” Auchnie says. “It’s time for positive change.”

“We need the new style of politics being offered by Jamie Baillie and the Progressive Conservative team. We need a strong, solution focused leaders with vision, action and follow through.”

Baillie is thrilled that Auchnie has stepped forward.

“Patricia recognizes that her community is rich with talented people, culture, arts, businesses and engaged community groups,” said Baillie. “Patricia will bring a strong voice for the constituents of Eastern Shore in the House of Assembly.”

Auchnie lives with her husband Henry and their three young children on the Eastern Shore.
